Program & Event Series-September
Come to the library this month for some family fun! The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries invite you - residents and visitors - to join us for exciting programs at both the Eastpoint and Carrabelle branches! From book discussions to crafts to tech support, there's something for everyone! These programs, events, presentations and performances offer opportunities for adults, children, and families to come together, explore their creativity, and enjoy time with others. All events are free and open to the public - no library card needed! Supplies are provided. Please note: both branches will be closed Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Story Time - Wednesday, Sept 2 at 10:30 am - Eastpoint Branch
This week’s book is Don’t Trust a Fish. Each week, Story Time brings stories to life through soundscapes, colorful visual aids, hands-on crafts, and simple games that encourage imagination, listening skills, and early literacy.
Video Game Hour - Thursday, Sept 3 at 4:30 pm - Carrabelle Branch
Teens and tweens are invited to unwind and compete on the Nintendo Switch during these fun and casual gaming hours.
Hurricane Preparation event - Friday, Sept 4 at 2 pm - Carrabelle Branch
In conjunction with Franklin County Emergency Management. Residents can learn about hurricane and emergency preparedness, sign up for Alert Franklin notifications, special needs registry, transportation disadvantaged program, and information about local emergency resources. Franklin County Emergency Management staff will be available to answer questions and provide enrollment assistance.
Holiday Closure - Monday, Sept 7 - Both Branches
Please note that both branches will be closed for Labor Day.
