Program and Event Series – May 2026

Come to the library this month for some family fun! The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries invite you - residents and visitors -  to join us for exciting programs at both the Eastpoint and Carrabelle branches! From storytimes to crafts to STEM activities, there's something for everyone! These programs, events, presentations and performances offer opportunities for adults, children, and families to come together, explore their creativity, and enjoy time with others. All events are free and open to the public - no library card needed! Supplies are provided.

Creation Station: Sand Art Jars - Wednesday, May 13 @ 4:00 PM - Eastpoint Branch
Mix and match colors to make a sand art jar to take home. Hands-on STEM activities and creative tinkering for ages 7–12. 

Adult Crafternoon: Oyster Flowers - Thursday, May 14 @ 2:30 PM - Eastpoint Branch
At this workshop adults can learn how to make an Oyster Flower! This easy hands-on program will be provided in a relaxed, welcoming setting and is open to adults of all skill levels. All materials supplied—perfect for both beginners and seasoned crafters.
